Dear Ms. Addivinola 

On behalf of Michael's cause we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support of Michael's cause since our inceptions in 2011. 

Dating back to March 2012 where our first dinner gala was at The Vanderbilt as South Beach right through to a recent Disco Night at the Grand Oaks Country Club in June 2023.

Your support to our charity has been nothing short or amazing. You Have worded with us to help raise awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and helped us fund some of the best research to find a cure for this fatal disease.

Your staff has always been professional and hard working both leading up to the events and at the venue. You helped make it easy for us to plan events and fundraisers throughout the years.

From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for the support. You have given our son Michael and all the others a chance.

Dear Ms. Addivinola:

                I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for your assistance with my family’s most recent event. Taylor Grace’s 1st birthday party was nothing short of perfect as usual!

                I am most grateful for the support and guidance you have offered me since we first met in 2006. As Parent Guild President for the Academy of St. Dorothy elementary school, as well as an office manager for a local healthcare facility, you have been by my side, helping me to shine! Whether it be a fashion show, a dinner dance fundraiser or a retirement party, I have never looked any further then your doorstep.

Knowing the excellence in service that is the Grand Oaks, the Grand Plaza and the Vanderbilt at South Beach, my family has also enjoyed many celebrations: from christenings to graduation parties to Sweet 16s and just two years ago, a wedding celebration for my daughter and son in law. You were right there, helping to make their dream come true!

                I truly believe it is your passion to help bring happiness to your clients’ events, and I have witnessed you do this many times. I look forward to working with you for many more years to come.

Grand Oaks is truly a hidden gem on Staten Island! We had our wedding there on one of the wettest days of September with over 200 guests. Margaret, our wedding coordinator helped us plan throughout the wedding and spent 3 hours with us the day before to figure out the best plan B if we couldn’t have our outdoor ceremony. Every time we had any concerns, she would reassure us that she will find a solution. We wanted to have a tea ceremony and it’s obvious Margaret has tons of experience! She was always accommodating with our requests and responsive when we had questions. The whole team at Grand Oaks are truly some of the nicest people we’ve worked with. Our guests can’t stop raving about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue is and we couldn’t agree more!

Hi Margaret,

With all the hustle and bustle during and after the wedding, we didn’t have a chance to give you a proper thank you. You and the team at Grand Oaks have all be such a pleasure and helped make our wedding day come to life. All the care and detail you put into set up and decorations made us feel extra special, especially under the circumstances we were under with the high winds and rain. We appreciate the many scenarios you suggested and ultimately went with the right choice. Our guests can not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, it was probably most of their first times on Staten Island but left a lasting impression. The first thing everyone had to say was how delicious the food was and we’re still hearing about the mashed potatoes…

On another note, the cake was one of the best cakes we’ve had…if there any way we can order one in the future?
